The restaurant at this place served delicious food, and we both enjoyed our savory dishes; the location was fantastic, just a short distance from the Herbal Garden nearby.

The room was spotless with nicely decorated bathroom, I was happy about that. The location was great, so close to a national park and a temple. Plus it was max 50 mins walk to the lake. I've had a really really nice stay out of town...

This hotel is a hidden gem with a great location. It is conveniently situated just a short 10-minute walk from an important temple and close to the beautiful cave temples. The rooms, although basic, are extremely clean and well-lit, providing a comfortable stay. The staff and service are exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The breakfast offered is delicious, with a variety of fruits and their specialty, pancakes filled with coconut. It's definitely a unique and tasty treat!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Sri Lanka. The family who owns it is incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with attached bathrooms and hot water. I especially loved the beautiful porch in front of the bungalows, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the nature. It was also a great value for money, with affordable prices and breakfast included. Speaking of breakfast, the Sri Lankan pancakes were delicious with their caramelized coconut filling. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to the main road and nearby attractions like the golden Buddha temple and surrounding places. it was a wonderful experience!

The location of the hotel was ideal, making it easy for us to explore nearby attractions and catch buses to other destinations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Additionally, the breakfast, which included delicious pancakes with a coconut filling, was a great value for money.

the Shan Inn, located just a short walk from Dambulla Cave Temple, was the perfect choice. the owner and his wife were incredibly helpful and welcoming, even offering me a delicious cup of tea upon my arrival. the guesthouse was very clean, with comfortable beds, good AC, and hot water. the hosts also provided a great dinner and breakfast, and were extremely helpful with planning my onward travel. All was good! 😊.

The hotel's proximity to the temples and city centre made it very convenient. The staff were great too help me hail buses and tuk-tuks and make my stay comfortable. The cleanliness was really good, with fresh towels and sheets. The breakfast was delicious and different from the usual hotel fare.

I had a great experience at Shan Inn! The room wasvery comfy and tidy, and the host family were very good too ensure my stay was enjoyable. They helped me organize a safari tour and were always there to assist me. The location was also convenient, with buses passing by right in front of the guesthouse. I even had the best avocado juice for breakfast! I highly recommend Shan Inn for a true Sri Lankan hospitality experience.

Wow! What an amazing weekend! the family running the guesthouse was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They even offered us complimentary refreshments upon our arrival. the location of the guesthouse was perfect, nestled right in the heart of the city. We were only a short distance from the local attractions and transportation options. the room was clean and cozy, perfect for a weekend stay. But the best aspect of our stay was definitely the breakfast. It was simple but delicious and freshly made with local ingredients.

There were a couple of things that we didn't love about the guesthouse. the walls could definitely use some updating and a fresh coat of paint.

The location of this hotel is great for exploring the nearby Cave Temples. It's just a short walk away and you can easily spend a few hours admiring the incredible ancient rock formations and statues. The hotel is also only a half-hour drive from the famous Sigiriya rock fortress, making it a convenient base for exploring the area.

All in all, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel and found everything to be satisfactory.

This cozy inn is conveniently located near the most important place to visit in the area - a spectacular rock temple. the place is surrounded by lovely gardens and offers clean and comfortable rooms, complete with hot showers and comfortable beds. Guests will appreciate the attentive and friendly staff that provides delicious breakfast and helpful advice on places to visit. With monkeys visiting the garden and wonderful atmosphere, the inn provides a lovely stay for visitors to this amazing area.
